Established in 1994 by owner and Podiatrist Dr. Aaron Bryce, The Foot & Ankle Clinic (TFAAC) has grown to be one of the largest and most clinically advanced Podiatric Medicine practices in the world, boasting world class facilities with all the latest treatment options that includes the supply and provision of an extensive range of Footwear, along with access to one of Australia’s leading Podiatry Surgeons, Dr. Mark Gilheany.

As an organisation that started in the regional area of Gippsland TFAAC understands the importance of supporting the local community. That is why for over 20 years, TFAAC has always been willing to extend its support to local organisations in an effort to support local community groups, clubs and their members. Now TFAAC is proud to be acknowledged as AFL Gippsland preferred Podiatry service provider.

“We are delighted to working in partnership with a professional sporting body such as AFL Gippsland and join with them in providing access to convenient access to Podiatry care throughout our Gippsland Practices.” explains TFAAC Managing Director and Podiatrist Dr. Aaron Bryce. AFL Gippsland was established to promote and grow the Australian football community in Gippsland through higher participation at all levels and by providing leadership and support to the football and wider sporting communities.

AFL Gippsland is one of 13 AFL Victoria regional commissions responsible for overseeing the governance of football in its region.

As someone with a passion for sport and who recognizes the important role Sports Trainers play in local senior and junior AFL and Netball, Dr Bryce further advised that “as part of the partnership between TFAAC and AFL Gippsland we are excited to be working with the AFL Gippsland towards launching an initiative aimed at providing a better support network for Sports Trainers throughout Gippsland which should result in improved player safety and first aid support”

“It will be via this mechanism and the relationships developed with local sports trainers that AFL Gippsland members will be provided direct referral, communication and education from TFAAC Podiatrists who in some cases will attend certain games to provide assistance to trainers as well and attend various, functions and events throughout the season.”
