Mahamed Aden

Senior Podiatrist (Moe, Traralgon & Sale)
B.HSci (Pod)

Mahamed is a warm, approachable Senior Podiatrist working between Moe, Traralgon and Sale. Originally from Auckland, New Zealand, he completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Majoring in Podiatry) at Auckland University of Technology. His interest in feet began through sport. Years of playing football introduced him to injuries, recovery and sparked a lasting fascination with how small changes can make a big difference to people’s mobility and comfort.

With 8 years clinical experience across both private and public health settings, Mahamed treats a broad range of foot and lower-limb issues. He enjoys helping people regain confidence and function, specialising in muscular conditions, pain management and prevention, exercise prescription, and gait assessment. He’s trained in a variety of hands-on and technical therapies including shockwave therapy, laser fungal treatment, dry needling, nail procedures, prescribing custom orthotics and ankle foot orthoses (AFOs). He also has strong expertise in footwear assessment and selection drawing on over four years working in the sporting footwear industry.

Mahamed is particularly passionate about managing long term conditions that affect quality of life, such as diabetic foot problems, arthritis and structural foot deformities. He believes in practical, evidence-based care tailored to each person’s goals, whether that’s getting back to sport, reducing daily pain, or simply making walking more comfortable.

Outside work he loves staying active, you’ll often find him at the local gym or enjoying the outdoors. Family is central to his life; he comes from a large family and treasures the time they spend together. Mahamed prides himself on being friendly, down to earth and easy to talk to, and looks forward to helping patients move better and feel better every day.
